Why I'm Doing This

I'm starting this because I'm done being two people.

There's the polished version of me — the business owner, the guy with the clean website and the professional email signature. And there's the real one: the guy who came back from vacation with his Italian relatives twelve pounds heavier, who was all-in on his diet and training for months and then fell completely off the cycle, and who has restarted more times than he can count.

I built a $1.3M calibration business without a degree or a prescription. I've been clean since the first minute of January 1, 2009. I have ADHD and I never medicated it. I'm writing two books about all of it. And none of that means I have it figured out — it means I know exactly what the loop of falling off and climbing back on looks like from the inside.

So here's the deal. Once a week, I'm going to document the real version:

  • The Comeback Loop — the diet, the training, the twelve pounds, and what restarting actually takes.
  • The Owner's Log — what running the business really looks like: the money, the people, the decisions.
  • Wired — the ADHD brain, the family stuff, the recovery. The things I'm writing the books about.
  • The Build — the software I'm building for my own lab by talking to AI, without being a programmer.

No cadence promises beyond one honest note a week. No fake wins. When I fall off — and I will — the next note will be about getting back on, because that's the whole point.
